With a new year comes new (or in my case, old) books to conquer and check off our reading list. That’s why I’ve created my own Book of the Month — to read books that I’ve always told myself that I’m going to read but just haven’t gotten around to it. With this year, I’ve tried to pick a book that might correspond to that specific month based on what books I want to read. For example, the February Book of the Month is The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris by Jenny Colgan. I figured it’s the month of Valentine’s Day and, more often than not, that holiday involves chocolate. October’s will be Dark Places because it sounds spooky, and when’s a better time to read something spooky than the month of Halloween? Get it? You'll also notice that I have left December blank as I know that some really good holiday novels come out towards the end of the year, and being that it's my favorite season, I want to browse around before I choose one! However, if any of you have suggestions, please feel free to let me know! Lastly, seeing as some of these books are not new releases, I do apologize if you’ve read them before but feel free to recommend a new one and I’ll try to read that one too! Check out the full list below and let me know what you think!
