Since January, I’ve been trying really hard to get in shape and feel a bit better about myself so I went full force into working out five days a week. While it's hard, I actually feel really great! I’ve lost a little over ten pounds and I feel great. For a long time, my weight really affected my mood, whether it meant going shopping or going out with the girls. Hell, it even affected the way I ate. So going into 2021, I’d had enough. It was time. I created a workout routine that was best for me and it didn’t include a gym membership. In fact, it doesn’t even include equipment, which is perfect. I researched and found some great workout videos that I could do right at home. I’m using my own body to get stronger and happier. One month in and I have no desire to stop, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite videos that have helped me feel good.
I knew going into this workout regime that I was going to need something to keep me motivated and feeling good. I found some really great workout videos on YouTube that are dynamite! The three that I’m posting below are the main ones that I use throughout the week. My favorite one is the 30-minute workout with Marnie Alton. However, each of them are great, focusing on different things to get that heart rate up and feeling strong. The other two videos are only ten minutes, so I will do those during the week, mixing them up and adding in other workouts, just to make sure I’m working out at least forty-five minutes a day. The other workouts would include riding the bike for 20 minutes (hard) and your basic crunches, planks, jumping jacks, etc., etc. If I’m not sweating by the end, I’m doing something wrong. I can honestly say that these workouts have really helped me feel better about my body. My thighs are so much stronger than they were a month ago and after every workout, while I may be tired, I feel so rejuvenated. I hope these videos help and maybe give you some inspiration when it comes to your workout routine! Enjoy!
