If I haven’t said it enough, Hallmark just knows my heart. So much so that they are continuing with their Christmas movie Fridays on the Hallmark Channel and upping their game to Christmas movie Thursdays on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Can you hear me screaming with excitement!?
Maybe some of you are in the same boat as me, but as we go into the third week of January, I’m getting super sad that Christmas is over. With the New Year's holiday, you can kind of trick yourself into believing that the celebrating isn’t over, but then 2021 hits and it's over. I start to see everyone begin to take their lights down and throw out their trees (which, as a side note, you should donate to your local farms because the animals can still eat the off the trees). Now, I don’t live in denial, but I do wish Christmas wouldn’t end as soon as it hits the 26th, you know? Nevertheless, as Hallmark dared me to in their commercial, I’m keeping my tree up (at least the one in my room) and watching Hallmark Christmas films to keep the spirit alive all year long. Hallmark had a lot of great ones this past year and with a lot of classics in their cinematic library, I’m all in favor of watching these until Hallmark debuts its 2021 Countdown to Christmas films. Who’s with me?
For anyone who’s interested, I reviewed every Hallmark Christmas film that premiered in 2020, which can be found here. I ranked them from favorite to least favorite for both channels and with a combined number of forty films that premiered in 2020, I can honestly say that we’re all in for a treat with these Christmas movie nights. The fact that we get two a week instead of one really does make me the happiest person in the world. Thank you, Hallmark!!
