I miss Lizzie 💁‍♀️

So recently, ColourPop came out with a Lizzie McGuire makeup line ( 😱), and not only did it make me super nostalgic (I mean, just the webpage itself is amazing), but now I’m reminded of the fact that we’re never going to get the Lizzie McGuire reboot. Just look at these products:

This has sent me down a Lizzie McGuire rabbit hole. As I write this, I have The Lizzie McGuire Movie on and I plan on having a marathon of the show on Disney Plus this weekend.

Was Lizzie McGuire not one of the greatest Disney Channel shows ever? From the fashion to her experiences with school and her family, I could always relate (in a manner of speaking). It was more that I just wanted to be Lizzie. She had great friends, cute clothes, and great hair. What more could you want? The episodes themselves were always so fun. From the murder mystery episode to the infamous cheerleading tryout episode, each one was such a breath of fresh air. Maybe I’m biased but if I had to give a rating, Lizzie McGuire would definitely be at the top of the list for best Disney Channel show EVER. That’s not to say that Disney Channel didn’t have some competition with its other shows that I also watched religiously. In fact, I made a list of my top ten favorite shows below. Really, my must-watch shows stopped after So Weird, but I figured I should make the list an even ten. However, In A Heartbeat and The Jersey were very good (just not ones I needed to watch every week in order to maintain some semblance of civility). I should also mention that I tapped out right as Hannah Montana came onto the scene. I just made the High School Musical phenomenon but I didn’t stay too much later.
